Career training in the Electronics Technology program prepares students for entry-level positions in the electronics, robotics, and electronic communication industry. The Electronics Technology program is primarily concerned with teaching students electronic theory of operation, design, construction and troubleshooting of electronic devices through a project-based curriculum. Classroom experience will consolidate basic AC/DC theory, solid-state technology, digital theory, microprocessor theory, and electronic communication theory with related circuits.

The broad aspect of this program will prepare students for various entry-level positions as electronic technicians, engineering assistants, robotics technicians, test and troubleshooting technicians or electronic assemblers. There are many other electronic positions that our students will be qualified to occupy.

Graduates of the Electronics Technology program are in great demand and the opportunities in the electronics field are multiplying with the growth of the electronics industry and strong economical impact of technology on society. Many students from our program choose to pursue higher education in the electrical engineering and mechanical fields.
